1、Hello，Dr. Hegde, welcome back to CPHI 2024 again! As more and more Chinese pharmaceutical companies are taking globalization as one of their most important stratetigies, what are the factors that need to be taken into consideration when an innovative drug company plan to go global for the products?
2、How important is international cooperation in the process of globalization for the drug companies? Do you have any tips for the pharmaceutical companies when selecting suppliers in the whole life-cycle?
3、As the companies are turning their eyes on emerging markets, and also as you have experiences of drug registration in South Africa, could you introduce what are the special aspects for drug registration in African market?
專家簡介：
Deepak Hegde
Independent Pharmaceutical Consultant
Deepak Hegde, Ph.D., M.F.M, is an industrial pharmacist by training. He has a been involved in development and commercialization of both innovative and generic drugs from a very early phase of development to technical transfers for commercial manufacturing sites, for the past 28 years, having extensive experience in generic formulation development of solid and liquid oral and injectible formulations from a very early phase of development all the way to technical transfers to commercial manufacturing sites. During his career, he has worked at Rhone Poulenc, Novartis (Sandoz), USV Ltd., WuXi AppTec, GSK & EOC Pharma and Pharmacin. Dr. Deepak Hegde completed his Doctorate in Biopharmaceutics and Pharmacokinetics from University of Mumbai in 1996. He also completed his Masters in Financial Management (M.F.M) from University of Mumbai in 2000. He is currently working as an Independent Pharmaceutical Consultant at Hegde Asociates.
